Hi,
I am trying to build and capture image in VM for Windows 10 1903 but impossible to install applications, packages work well
I can see this in TransfertService.log: bits job error 0x80200010
When I add a network card with internet access, all works well.
It's he goal to not have internet connection during capture process.
Same behavior when i image a computer, no access to internet, no way to download application content
Once TS terminated, i need to connect the VM to internet in order to install applications
All are in CB

Yeah when I redid my test domain at home I wasn't able to install the ccmclient on the Win10.1903 VM, stuck in a loop erroring:
Download Update: A recoverable error has occurred. A retry attempt will be made. Error: 0x80200010, Description There are currently no active network connections. Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) will try again when an adapter is connected.
, Context: The error occurred in the Background Intelligent Transfer Service (BITS) queue manager.

Client installs fine to all the 2016's though. I really haven't had time to look into it yet though.

Not really sure what's causing it. Been working with 1903 WIMs at work on both physical and virtual systems and haven't encountered this until now.

The only thing I can think of (just a guess at this point) is that it might be something with ghost NICs. The 1903 I have the problem with here was a sysprep'ed install from a little while ago that's been shuffled back and forth off my SSD which mean it has some Hyper-V NICs hiding in the registry from previous configurations. My plan was to see if this was to push 1903 to a new VM rather than use this sysprep'ed VHDX.

Home setup's not quite as beefy as work so it's tight trying to run the host OS + DC, DB, WU, CM + (MgMt Svr or Client PC). Can only squeeze so much into 16GB RAM and 500GB SSD. :)

I just found the culprit: No default gateway was configured on my DHCP server, i have added a valid IP and now everything working great, even without any internet connection.
Now, why 1903 need that one and not lower version ....
I am working in a test environment with VMWARE

Well that's just ridiculous, if it's a single subnet with no actual routing device there is no gateway. It's a valid configuration, someone jacked up some code somewhere inside BITS.

Nice find, will try it tonight on mine. I have the same setup you did.
