Hi,
I've been distributed an application to a user collection and viewing the deployment status noticed that my requirements were wrong, so I've changed the requirements.
Should i initiate update content on the deployment type so the clients will try again to evaluate and install the application ?
When the clients will evaluate again and try to install the application according to the new requirements ?
The default re-evaluation for deployments on the client setting is set to every 7 days - does this means that the clients will try installing the application again according to the new requirements only after 7 days from the initial installation phase ?
I'm a bit confused:(

while you are doing any modification to app/package you need to update the content .so the machines will take the updated content .so right click on the deployment types and click update content . Attaching SS for reference SS.JPG

Hello,
if you are just modifying requirement you do not need to update content.

I've done that undreds time and the only thing you need to do is updating policies and starting an evaluation cycle on clients (computers). If you do not start an evaluation cycle the client will wait for the user to manually applying the modification in Software Center (until a new evaluation cycle start).

You only have to update content when you are modifying sources or creating a new deployement type.

i'm only deploying application to computers collection but i guess it work the same way.

Yes .. If any modification to package or source file , we need to update the content . requirement change does not require any update ..
