PENDING Application Uninstall and ReInstall

Hello,

I have an issue with an application that is installed on all devices throughout our estate. This small application reports back to a master beacon and stores data. Recently all of the clients have stopped reporting back into the main beacon and the software vendor has informed me that i need to uninstall the client from all machines and then re-install it.

Can someone please provide me with full step by step instructions on how to get this done quickly and efficiently using SCCM. The application was originally installed using SCCM.

If the application is a .msi application, it should have the uninstall command populated when you packaged it. If it's an .exe application, find out the uninstall command and verify if the command uninstall the client and check if it requires reboot.

Once you know the uninstall command works fine, you can create either an app or package and uninstall the clients.

Ok that worked for the majority of the clients, the ones that are reporting an error back are saying error conflicts with another application deployment, do you have any ideas about this?
