Hi,
A bit weird one.
I had two servers upgraded from Windows 2008 to 2016.
Prior to the upgrade, the two servers were part of a collection that has a maintenance windows ONLY for software updates and I had Windows Server 2008 as the limiting collection. Obviously, once upgraded, the two servers were removed from the collection as they are not part of the limiting collection.
I assumed that the servers once removed from the collection wouldnt have maintenance window assigned to them and i have also checked the collections that the servers are part of and they dont have any maintenance window assigned.
So, I deployed an app to the Servers during daytime and ran machine policy and nothing happened. Came in this morning and the app was not deployed until it reached a maintenance window. However, i couldnt find any maintenance window set up for application deployment to those servers.
Pointers please?
Thank you.
