SCCM Update / Site Reset causes LogonUI.exe problems​

Hi All, Desperately after some help please. I'm updating my SCCM from 2010 to 2203 server 2019 and every time I attempt it (No matter which version i'm going to) It fails on Component Install with this error in CMUpdate.log:


" ERROR: CompileMOFFile: Failed to compile MOF E:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\bin\x64\TaskSequenceProvider.mof, error -1]"

After i reboot the server I get the following issue even though it was just a failed update:

Then upon reboot I get LogonUI.exe pop up with the message "The system detected an overrun of a stack-based buffer in this application. This overrun could potentially allow a malicious user to gain control of this application." The only way I can get the server working again is to restore to Snapshot.
The main errors I see are the following but i have now done everything i can think of to fix the issue including uninstalling anything on the server thats not MECM related.

We have the same problem. Yesterday we repeat the process of the upgrade withe tehe same result. Crashed installing de sms provider and logonui.exe error in the SQL Server. We need in each situation to revert snapshots in order to have the infrasrtucture again online.

It is not support to restore ConfigMgr like this. It can cause problems, particularly with client and inventory. You should open a support case with ms.
