PENDING SCCM certificate

I need some advice regarding my SCCM certificate. My previous certificate expired, and when I inquired with my colleagues about obtaining a new one, they were unsure. As a temporary solution, I changed to HTTP and selected a self-assigned certificate. However, my security team has pointed out an SSL certificate issue on port 443. Although I am not currently using a certificate, my colleagues suggest getting one to address all the concerns.

My question is: do we need to purchase a certificate (from where) or is it possible to create my own? I appreciate any guidance you can provide. Thank you."

Do you not have an inhouse Cert server? That is what I would use.

Hi @Garth i guess so. But i never create before. Do i need to create certificates for all my DP's and SCCM server or my company CA provide me the cert? i dont have AD or any other server access. Can you please advise or share the link to me understanding.
