HI All, come across an interesting situation with our builds via sccm, we are an all HP house and have built 100's of machines win 10 and 11 with no issues at all. the basic build is, format drive - install OS - install drivers - reboot and carry on with rest of software packages. this works fine, except if the machine has 16gb ram, take out an 8gb stick and build, then put it back after build it works fine.. it just sits there with the circle of dots going round and round, I thought it was drivers, so built without any drivers.. same thing. cant see anything in the build task sequence.... anyone have any thoughts on this?

thanks

Never heard of this type of issue before. What do the logs say is happening?

not seeing any thing in the logs, that normally have build errors, it appears to run through format disk, install windows, install drivers, reboot, then it does the getting ready, then just a circle of dots that never complete, if I crash out and reboot, windows is installed. I just cant pinpoint why with 16gb ram it stops. if I do the exact same process with 4 or 8gb it fin and carries on.. not too much of an issue just yet as most of our machines have 8gb, but more are trickling through with 16gb.. any suggestions of which log files I should look in, in case I have over looked something
