In windows server 2008 r2, when i add new PC into DC revived below error
"Changing the Primary domain DNS name of the computer to "failed.
the name will remain "abc.com"
The error was:
The specified server cannot perform the requested operation.
I have found some method handle the problem from Microsoft, but i can't fix it now.
Because my system use Vlan range throuht layer 3 sw cisco:
Vlan 9(server): 192.167.1.0/24 --> DNS: 192.167.1.5
Vlan 11 (user): 192.167.11.0/24.
if so vlan 9 with over IP when join domain haven't any problem happening.
any difference Vlan join domain both to error happening above.
But actually this error not effect join domain process, after I ignore this error process still successfully.
any who can give me know what happen my system?
I hope any master will help me asap.
