SOLVED Hardware up-gradation Issue in Hyper-V virtual server

I have configured a linux server with help of hyper-V. Windows 2008 R2 is configured on physical server (Base server). RAM is 12 GB configured in virtual linux server, while 16 GB RAM is available on physical server. I want to upgrade the RAM upto 24 GB in virtual environment. While the RAM will be 16 GB on base server. Is it possible and how?
