Hi there,

sorry if this is not the correct place but it looked like it made the most sense to put it here as it is relating to a GP that i want to roll out to some users in AD.

I am trying to roll out a Group Policy like i have tested on my local computer in the following location.

When I go to this location on my server i dont have anything after Microsoft and cant find the CCM folder so that i can make a change and role out this policy company wide to users. What i see is the following on my server

Can someone please let me know how or where i can download a template that would allow me to make this policy change on the registry for users.

Thanks in advance

Basically i want to change the registry key clientalwaysoninternet from 1 to 0 as we have found that some machines are not reporting correctly on EndPoint and when we change this key they show up correctly enrolled. We have a number of devices that we need to change this on and the best way i thought would be to do this through Group Policy.

Hi, I think you can make use of a group policy to change the registry key - HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\CCM\Security

I am not sure why the key isn't appearing in your case. I also checked my TP lab and I could see the key without any issues.

we want to change this as we have found that when we change this manually on a device it checks in correctly to end point manager, so we are trying to make this change via group policy so that we dont need to change it on all devices manually.

Ideally when the clients are connected to internet, the clients get the location of the CMG service automatically on the next location request.
