SCCM 2111
Win 11 ADK Installed, boot images deployed and updated below

This is a test environment I've created. The issue is sharing permissions for me because I can actually resolve it by giving 'everyone' access to the share. Even though it is a test, I don't want to do this and for production environments, I'd like to know what I'm doing wrong.

The account I'm logged into is an SCCM admin account, and a domain admin account. Also part of a group 'sccm admins'. If I try and add OS image with the shares like below, I'll get the error message (all security groups and the sccm computer account has full control). Paul account is what I'm logged in as.

Whereas the below works, though I don't want it to be like this. I'm sure it is something silly. This is my fourth time setting up a test lab, and I've never came across this (I don't think, it has been a while).

Anyways, first time poster... long time getting advice from this site. It's a great resource. Thanks,

Solution
of course, you find a solution near after you post (I've been trying for over 2 hours).

Giving the local system account full control allows it to work.

Can I just confirm from someone who knows more than me that this is the actual process? I have not seen it documented anywhere.

Thanks again.
