Hi all:

I am attempting to set up an OSD for Windows 7 64 bit for a few computers we have in the office. The problem I have is that the task sequence is failing after the disk partitioning and formatting section of the task. It is returning error 0x80004005.

There are no errors listed in x:\smstslog\smsts.log on the target machine after the OSDDiskPart component finishes.
There are no errors listed for today in smsdpmon.log on the SCCM server.
There are no errors listed for today in smspxe.log on the SCCM server.
All content is distributed to the DP as successful
The TS is deployed to a single device collection with a single computer member (membership via MAC address only)

Configuration Manager is Current Branch 1802
Site version is 5.0.8634.1000
Console version is 5.1802.1082.1807

Where else can I look for hints on how to fix this?

Ron

The C: drive on the target machine, while formatted, has no content including hidden or system content.
