PENDING WSUS sync problem in SCCM 2012

Hello

I have configured SCCM following http://prajwaldesai.com/sccm-2012-r2-step-by-step-guide/. i have configured step 1-6. applying part 7 says hotfixes are not applicable.
then step 10.
i dont need other steps, as i will be only using it for patch deployment. i configured step 18
but i am getting sync error as attached.

i have SCCM / SQL / WSUS in one HyperV. this hyperV is directly conned to internet without any firewall or proxy. one thing i found is that WSUS is not creating custom website. see attached. i am not using any account in SUP configuration to connect to WSUS.

Did reinstall 3 times. First time it did not created wsusdb in sql. Second and 3rd time it created wsusdb. But none of the time it created Custom website in Iis.
There was no option in wsus installation to create custom website

As others say i can not confirm that u only have to install wsus and let sccm configure.
In my case i got the error that wsus couldn´t be configured, i invested a lot of time and nothing solved it so i decided to configure only to the point who setup wants connection to microsoft update (u have to press a button).
after this connection is established i closed the setup, from now sync and config works by sccm.

Hi all,

I followed as you the step-by-step to install SCCM on my server. Then I updated SCCM to 1602. I'm trying now to install the SUP role and face the same problem as you.
For now it doesn't work at all, I have the following behaviours:

1. Under Monitoring\System Status\Site Status: Software update point is in Critical status with the following message: "MP Control Manager detected management point is not responding to HTTP requests. The HTTP status code and text is 503, Service Unavailable."
2. Under Monitoring\System Status\Component Status: SMS_WSUS_SYNC_MANAGER is in Warning status with the following message: "WSUS Synchronization failed. Message: WSUS update source not found on site XXX."
3. Component Status: SMS_WSUS_CONFIGURATION MANAGER is in Warning status with the following message: "WSUS Configuration Manager failed to configure upstream server settings on WSUS Server XXX."
4. Component Status: SMS_MP_CONTROL_MANAGER is in Warning status with the following message: "MP Control Manager detected management point is not responding to HTTP requests. The HTTP status code and text is 503, Service Unavailable."
5. WSUS Admin Website under IIS does not exist, instead I can see the Default Web Site which includes CCM_XXX and SMS_XXX object.
6. The WSUS Service is not running and it is Disabled.
