NEW WSUS & SUP?

Hello

Need a debate settling.

I dont have my DCs managed by sccm and they use WSUS to get their patches.

Can the wsus role live on the site server for the SUP and still be used by the dcs for only wsus. Or does SCCM take over. Thats what my co worker says but im not convinced.

Backstory. We have a separate WSUS & SCCM (SUP) server. I want to combine these to save on resource

your co worker is right as you cant manage updates through WSUS once connected to CM update point. it got to be managed withen CM.
We have two WSUS servers. one for CM and one for our server environment.
