Hi,
I'm building a new SCCM instance. Everything is fine however I have two domains, lets call them A and B. I have two accounts lets call them SCCM and WSUS. My new instance is in the B domain and it can only bypass the proxy when using an account from the A domain. This is currently setup on the old SCCM instance and works fine.
SUP role is configured to use the WSUS account and works fine when the proxy is set in WSUS to use the WSUS account also. However for some reason the WSUS proxy settings within WSUS its self (not in SCCM) keeps getting over written with the SCCM account (SCCM service account). The role was originally configured to use the SCCM account but I have since changed it to use the WSUS account. When WSUS and SCCM both have the same account set, everything seems to work fine. But then it seems that SCCM comes along every half hour or so and reconfigures the WSUS proxy account to use the SCCM service account which of course fails because the SCCM account has no access through the proxy and it cannot be setup with such as it is an account from the B domain. Only accounts from the A domain can access through the proxy.
Any ideas on how I can stop SCCM from updating the WSUS proxy settings with a different account than what is currently set on the SUP role? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
