PENDING Would like to understand the Client Re-assignment process

We have a requirement of reassigning the SCCM client from existing one to new Primary site server with same CAS hierarchy. Some one could explain me the exact process flow would be greatly appreciated.

I would like to know below:

1. What happens during the client re-assignment
2. Client Entry present in database will be removed and re-added?
3. What happens to the failed applications /installation due applications?
4. Existing client settings will be refreshed?
5. How SCCM manages client re-assignment. Once from console the re-assignment is done, I would like to know step by step process and name of logs, I can monitor the progress.

Once the client is assigned to a new primary site, he gets the new SCCM policies (MP server, DP...).

However this does not talk about the change process ,when we are manually or from console re-assign the existing primary site new primary.

Will the newly assigned clients get removed DATABASE or from existing collections, with which the client is member of?
