Hi Experts

I am new to SCCM,I want to organize updates, please guide me the best way.
We have windows 2016, windows 2012R2, Windows 2008R2 environment.

Currently i have ADR setup for windows server 2012R2,
we want to deploy windows updates once in 3 months.
Do i need to create software update group for every 3 months for windows 2016, windows 2012R2 & Windows 2008 R2, i afraid it will become mess as the days go by.

If i have one ADR for Windows 2016,Windows 2012R2 and Windows 2008R2. will it be enough.
and can i have one deployment package for windows 2016, windows 2012R2 and windows 2008 R2
Experts guide me i am confused

You can have a single software update group and add all updates to it or have separate software update groups for deploying updates. The later one is easy because you can manage the updates easily considering that you know that what updates needs to be removed from the list. There is also a way to clean the old updates from SUG, you can simply add or remove updates for an existing Software Update Group.
