Hello,

They have been working fine for months now all of a sudden....nope

I have attached Wau and location logs. Googled the error cant find anything. Hit a brick wall now.

They initially appeared in software centre but after the weekend they disappeared (servers patched), run summarization in the software library and says unknown and doesnt say required.

  • DP content is valid
  • Applications work as I installed a new version of chrome this morning ad that worked on the Win10s.
  • My 2019 servers are fine and have updated over the weekend.
  • Certs appear to be fine no expired ones.

Solution
I noticed the root CA had been updated and I recalled and renewed all certs (Cliient,IIS,DP) and now working. We are HTTPS only PKI configured

solved
More i look into this, its pointing to WSUS maintenance. However i regularly do clean ups and have all the setting checked.

Iv been onto SQL and check for obsolete updates and nothing comes up.

Rebuild the SUP?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the WSUS role and SQL Db

Still same error. Its now effecting all machines.

Seems more like WMI issue on clients than WSUS issue.
It's effected the servers aswell.

Only thing I should mention is we are a dark system and have PKI set up but can't see anything pointing to certs issues iv checked CRLs all fine.

Any suggestions what to do next? Iv googled the error code to death and its unknown. I'm in process of getting the logs for MS support.
