Hello, I have an interesting scenario that I have been asked by my management:
Scenario: I have one new SCCM 1802 server. I have an MDT 2013 server that was built before I came here that has a LOT of customized task sequences for operating system deployment with both Window 7 and Windows 10.
Now I know I that you can do MDT Task sequence with SCCM so you have access to MDT Task Sequence steps, but the question that has been raised is...
"1. Is it possible to have the SCCM server somehow control the existing MDT server is such a way that the sequences do not have to be rebuilt in SCCM. 2. Or is there any way to export task sequences, not templates but the sequences themselves, and import them into SCCM"
I am fairly sure that the answer to #2 is going to be no, but if anyone else has faced a situation like this, I would love to hear your thoughts. Thanks in advance!
