PENDING upgrading sccm 2012 R2 sp1 to 1610

hi guys

I'm very new to sccm and have been tasked with upgrading our sccm 2012 R2 sp1 to 1610 . I have to build on server 2012 as current is on server 2008r2 can you recommend any good write ups? I'm nervous as it will be my first time building a environment

Yeah but Im looking for a side by side migration. We are going to new hardware and new Server 2012 as well as SQL 2014 that seems to be just a upgrade from current R2 ro 1606.
