PENDING Upgrade ConfigMgr 2012 SP1 to SCCM 2012 R2

Currently we are using ConfigMgr 2012 SP1 CU55.00.7804.16007804 version & we are planning to upgrade SCCM 2012 R2 version.
1>What is the difference & features between Current version (ConfigMgr 2012 SP1) to R2 Version?
2>Is it SCCM up gradation limitation?
3>When we upgrade SCCM SP1 to 2012 R2 is it support windows 10 patches?

I would suggest you to plan well and upgrade to current branch version. The 2012 R2 is an old version now and there are almost no updates released. If you want to manage Windows 10 computers, i suggest you upgrade it to latest current branch. Check the below post for upgrade paths

IS it possible to upgrade SCCM version from ConfigMgr 2012 SP1 CU55.00.7804.1600 7804 to ConfigMgr 2012 R2 CU45.00.7958.1501 7958 using existing key?
