SOLVED Update non-Microsoft software with SCCM

I wanted to know how to update non-Microsoft software with SCCM such as Java, Adobe, Firefox, Google Chrome, Adobe Flash Player, VLC media player, ... knowing that Microsoft updates (Windows and Office) are managed by ADR

Exactly, I used the following procedures:

But the import fails when creating a catalog as you can see it on this image:



Also the Catalogs Workspace gives only the possibility for Adobe, Dell, HP and Fujitsu.

How to add Java, Firefox, Google Chrome, 7- Zip, ... or others softwares?

Hello,

I have just solved this problem. The download was blocked at my firewall. The problem now remains for software not planned in SCUP like Java, ...

When I want to select the package source of Java, I have this warning: "The specified binary for this update does not appear to be signed, please sign all update binaries before authoring an update in update Publisher"


I try to continue with this warning but when a select FULL CONTENT in the Publish software Update Wizard, the Publish of update fails.


I try to select Automatic in the Publish software Update Wizard and the Publish of update success but I’m not able to deploy this update to the collection.



Can someone tell me how to solve this problem

It means : "All software updates in this selection have expired or are only metadata. Deployment can not be created".

Hello,

I have solved this problem and the publications of non-Microsoft update are successfully done on the SCCM server and ready for deployment.
The problem was on two levels:
• The timestamp was enabled but did not have unlimited access to the internet
• Also when creating updates in SCUP I entered a wrong URL download path (example : \\sccmtest\SCUP\FichierMSI\Java\ instead of \\sccmtest\SCUP\FichierMSI\Java\jre1.8.0_161patch.msi).
