PENDING Unable to track Application Usage for the rules created in Software Metering

I am not able to track the usage of the applications for the rules created in Software Metering.

Eg: Rule created for AcroRd32.exe , Version : (*)

On Client side, mtrmgr.log. Not able to find the rule for the PID of AcroRd32.exe.

But If I add the Version Like 15.12.*

Then the rule is validating. Please help me here. I want to track with Version (*) since want to track for all the versions.

The same applied on Visio.exe, winproj.exe (I gave * as version but no rule is associated. Kindly help.

I'm not sure what you expect people to do. If there is a problem with the rules as you have describe you only option is to contact MS support.
