Hi everyone.
It is urgent for me. I created task sequence and deployed more than 600+ Dell Optiplex 7470.And these tasks successfully completed. Now several new computers have been purchased which is Dell Optiplex 7490.Now I want to deploy a same task sequence to them. When i pixie boot this machine the sccm Task sequence Wizard comes and loses immediately and the machine reboots.( İ attached picture)

What could be the problem?

One of Optiplex 7490 pc, I open smsts.log and I found such a sentence “Unable to download PXE variable file. Exit code=14”

Thank you in advance.

Are the Dell Optiplex 7490 drivers added to the boot image?. If you are using the latest dell boot images, the OSD should work.

Thanks for reply Dear Prajwal.
I have a question.I need to create a separate boot for this ? or how I add optiplex 7490 drivers to boot?
Thanks in advance

Hey @Prajwal Desai,

I'm also having the same exact issue, but I have completely bloated my boot image with Dell drivers (from their driver pack), but this is with a Dell Latitude 5420 AND it's only happening for 2 sites out of 100+ sites...

I got the same issue, and I found the root cause in my case.

My issue device netcard module is Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (23) I219-LM, but my SCCM boot image only contains Intel(R) Ethernet Connection (17) I219-LM driver. Therefore, in TFTP download phase the device was not able to obtain IP address. Once I add newest net drivers int boot image, it works.
