PENDING Troubleshooting Software Center to Display Software update

Hi Prajwal,

Good day!


I am new to SCCM and been following your guide on setting up SCCM. However, I'm stack on deploying software update verification to Software Center on my client machine, on the SCCM console it says that the updates are downloaded and deployed but on my client end, there are no notifications for available update and the Software Center console was empty. Can you help on this issue as I have non idea on how to configure SCCM to deploy software updates.

Yes i see that updates are downloaded and deployed as per the screenshots. Did you schedule a deadline for the installation in the Deployment Management?. Do you have any kind of maintenance window set on the client collection?. This could actually be preventing the clients from installing.

check WUAHandler.log and UpdatesDeployment.log, WindowsUpdate.log (in the Windows folder) to see what it says about the updates
