Hello all,
An interesting issue. I had a previously working OSD task sequence to do in place upgrade from Windows 7 to Windows 10. This task sequence <it is in development right now> does nothing more than the "Apply Operating System" task and "Auto Apply Drivers". The platform is SCCM Current Branch 1802 and my operating system to deploy is Windows 10 1803. No changes were made over the weekend other than rebooting the SCCM server for patching, and all of a sudden I get that above mentioned error.
I checked the CAS.log, execmgr.log on the test machines, CCM.log, and just about every other log I could think of, and they don't point to anything, as in no communication errors that I can see. New collections, copied the task sequence, attempted to use a different source path, just to rule out a bad reference ID or something of that nature with the same result.
The curious thing is if I deploy just an application <in this case Google Chrome>, it finds the source and will deploy as normal, it's just task sequences. I only have one MP/DP at present. Does any one think it would be helpful to install another DP, or would that be a waste of time? I would gladly appreciate any ideas on solving this one.
Thanks in advance,
