One of the new features in SCCM 1802 is to enable clients to receive third party updates published by SCUP I wanted to use this feature and enable clients to download certificate automatically from SUP but I read that it needs WSUS to use HTTPS instead of HTTP so I need to convert WSUS to use HTTPS can I use SCCM certificate that is downloaded in clients personal store or I must generate a self-signed certificate from IIS console and does it have published to all clients in Network that connects to WSUS server and what certificate store it has to be in Trusted publishers or what? Thanks in advance.

Try this - Generate self signed cert for WSUS and put that cert in Trusted publishers and trusted root auth and let me know if that works.

Do you mean to put it in SCCM server Trusted publisher and Trusted Root or distribute this certificate to all clients in network by group policy .
