Hi,

i followed many recommended guides for this but my problem is still present.

My sccm has still the same catalog version (after new install wsus and clearing SUSDB) and will synchronize the very old Windows 7 Updates. But I followed exactly the guides.

I didnt choose products like Windows 10 or Windows 7 and started synchronisation.

After this the server loaded thousands of very old updates.

Plz help me.

Thx, Alex

Hi,

first: thank you.

I fixed the Link in my first comment.

My really first problem:

I couldn't update my Clients (Windows 10 and Windows 7)

I found this solution:

https://serverfault.com/questions/616376/windows-updates-not-working-via-sccm-2012-r2

But after 3 weeks I had the same problem. I changed the registry again - but problem still exists. We made a sql query to find out the real catalog version. But it was synchron to the regedit value. So I decided to renew the WSUS Database and the SUP role.

"What do you mean by "My sccm has still the same catalog version" ? "

Example (Internet Picture, look at Catalog Version):

I changed the Catalog Version to a fictitious value. At the first time it worked.

But after reinstall/rebuild WSUS and SUP the Catalog Version is still the same.

Even ADR Rules and software update groups are still present. I thought it will be reset to default (0?)
