PENDING SQL Server Setup could not search for updates through the Windows Update service

When, I am installing SQL server reporting service, I am getting an issue. While installing the reporting service, I am getting an error "SQL Server Setup could not search for updates thrugh the Windows Update service. You can either check again or click Next to continue. To troubleshoot issues with your Windows Update service, view the link below, ensure you have Internet or network access, and ensure your Windows Update service can find updates interactive through the Windows Update control panel".

Error 0x80244022: Exception from HRESULT: 0x80244022

This is done only on my CMS server. On primary sites, reporting service is running very well.

Kindly help on the same.

Hi Vivek, I have seen this error during SQL server setup. You mentioned that you are seeing this error while installing reporting service, can you confirm is it while installing SSRS or during SQL installation. Attach the screenshots if you can. I hope you have verified internet connecitivity on that server. This might be more related to WSUS service, I don't see this as a big issue as SQL updates can be installed later unless it doesn't show you next button proceed.

Yes, when I am running SQL setup, I am getting this error. and the server is also not connected with internet as per my project architecture. One more thing is that SQL installation is standalone and I installed the SQL on my primary sites server, and I did not get this type of error on primary site.
