Hello,
I want to manage windows updates through SCCM. But all pc's and servers checking and downloading updates from internet directly, only they are asking for "INSTALL Now". My SCCM is also ready for Updates deployment. How i can stop automatic checking/downloading updates from internet on clients and servers.
I want to push required updates manually from SCCM to clients by my self. How it is possible ? i saw one common solution on internet that go to control panel > open configuration manager > and click policy evolution etc. This is not looking professional way, this is very hard to do if the number of clients and servers is more that 100.

Is there a WSUS GPO in place ?. Check the resultant set of policies on any client machine.

Create a GPO to stop getting updates from internet. install SCCM client. Start patching through SCCM. It will work like charm

@imz have a look at Automatic Deployment Rule. ADR
But first you need to have a GPO to disable Windows Update on Clients and GPO to point Windows Update to WSUS Server.
