Hi,

Got a issue with SCCM 1703 which I can't work out. here are my settings:

CLIENT SETTINGS

Computer Restart - Display a temporary notification to the user that indicates the interval before the user is logged off or the computer restarts: 30min

Computer Restart - Display a dialog box that the user cannot close: 15min

ADR

Run the rule on a schedule: 29/09/2017 1300

DEPLOYMENT

Available time 1hr (i.e. 1400 right?)

Installation deadline: asap

Delay enforcement of this deployment according to grace period: No

When deadline is reached, allow following to perform outside MW: Software Update Installation (checked)

Suppress restart for Servers: No

COLLECTION MAINTENANCE WINDOW

14:30 to 16:00

If I log onto the server, I can see the software updates status is “past due – will be installed/retried”. However, it doesn’t actually install the updates until 1430. Then it sits there saying “waiting for reboot” in Software Centre. No automatic reboot. I’ve noticed that after I log off, the server restarts on its own. Is this normal?

1. I want it to get the updates and install immediately once the updates become available, rather than waiting for the MW. Is this possible?

2. How do I get it to reboot automatically on the dot at the start of the MW, and reboot even if a user is logged onto the server?

Thank you!
