Hello All,
I have recently P2V'd my physical SCCM primary server to VMWare environment and now getting mismatched content errors.

Checking component status I get the above in a critical state, when looking at the logs it says various package IDs cannot be located.
Actually looking on the server folder location, these is no package with that name. Bellow are thre error messages.

The source directory "\\*Server*\WindowsUpdates$\ADR - Windows 7\f1cca3a9-908f-410f-b8ae-f7f39519968a" for package "GRP001F6" does not exist. The operating system reported error 2: The system cannot find the file specified.

Distribution Manager failed to process package "ADR - Definition Updates" (package ID = GRP001E4).

Distribution Manager failed to connect to the distribution point ["Display=\\*server*.local\"]MSWNET:["SMS_SITE=GRP"]\\*server*.local\. Check your network and firewall settings.

Looking at the folder location, there is no folder f1cca3a9-908f-410f-b8ae-f7f39519968a in WindowsUpdates$\ADR - Windows 7 so how do i get it to redistubute the content under a different SID to pair up? or find the missing content?

The source directory "\\man-sccm-cm01\WindowsUpdates$\ADR - Windows 7\f1cca3a9-908f-410f-b8ae-f7f39519968a" for package "GRP001F6" does not exist. The operating system reported error 2: The system cannot find the file specified.

Why not delete that ADR and create a new one ?. Is this issue happening with other applications as well ?.

Deleting the adr may work but would rather understand the cause than create more work for myself.
This is happening with the ADR , a bootimage on a DP and another package on a different DP. No pattern in terms of package or DP

There is missing of folder f1cca3a9-908f-410f-b8ae-f7f39519968a , This is a common issue happening over ADR.
Curious to ask -> As windows 7 is in EOL. Do you have product key?

Removeing the DP from the deployment and redistrubuting worked and then went all green, log files still point to an issue but i'll raise another ticket for that as this case can now be closed.

Content no longer on the server, checked backups and turns out it wasnt there long but the GUID were still in SCCM to reporting as a negative. deleted any directories found accross DPs and removed DPs from the deployment and readded and no working fine
