Hi to All

I got several errors when I ran a backup in the primary server SCCM

SMS_SITE_BACKUP
Site Backup failed. The error reported by the service is Error: PrepareForBackup failed.. Backup operation is not completed. Please see smsbkup.log for more information.

Raised backup task failure alert.

What can I do to fix it

There could be multiple reasons for backup failure. Check the following things :-
a) check if there is any other tool backing up the SQL server at the same time while you are backing up the server.
b) Try changing the backup target to a directory on a different volume.

I did what you said.

I backup in a different directory and the error remains



I have checked that there is no antivirus agent deployed on SCCM. I mean, It does not have one

Additionally there is no backup agent running on it

Do you have any additional thing that I can check ir order to fix it?
