I am migrating Configuration Manager to a new server with new site code. I have moved over a few clients but have not moved any servers yet. I am trying to figure out how to apply previous and this months patches without forcing it to reboot. I want it to wait until the maintenance window. On the new server I have set up my Software Update Groups including updates from this month back to 2019. I deployed the previous and this months updates out to servers with the following settings:
Scheduling
Software available time: As soon as possible
Installation deadline: As soon as possible

User Experience
Deadline behavior - When the installation deadline is reached... Software updates installation
Software updates deployment re-evaluation behavior upon restart... If any updates int he deployment requires a system restart, run updates deployment evaluation cycle after restart.

Will this ensure that my servers are not rebooted as soon as I point them to the Configuration Manager?
