Hi,
Currently we are using SCOM2007 in our Lab environment.
The RMS server Health state showing critital in SCOM console and all servers health status is grayed out.
I have not much exposure on SCOM and tried to troubleshoot the issue.
I belive is there connection broken between RMS and SQL Server Instance (Dataware house).
There is multiple events are generating 31551 events.
Find the below log info :
Date and Time: 8/19/2019 5:20:50 PM
Log Name: Operations Manager
Source: Health Service Modules
Generating Rule: Data Warehouse related event collection
Event Number: 31551
Level: Error
Logging Computer: PR-JW-SCOMRMS01.IPTV.PREPLICA.SINGNET.LOCAL
User: N/A
Description:
Failed to store data in the Data Warehouse. The operation will be retried. Exception 'SqlException': A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: TCP Provider, error: 0 - No connection could be made because the target machine actively refused it.)
