I have a master image on horizon that my VDIs use. I resnap the image after every monthly MS patch.

Each time a user spins up a new vdi session this error pops up and continues to pop up around 5 times before it goes away.

Only thing I can think of is removing the SCCM client after a patch, but this means I will have to install it every month to be able to patch and that means more work.

Anyone had this problem?

thanks

I found a similar problem before in one of our testing windows 10 workstations.

I uninstalled and reinstalled .NET and rebooted the machine.

Also, verified that this folder has the necessary permissions-C:\Windows\Microsoft.NET\Framework64\v4.0.30319\Config

Yes iv reinstalled .NET

Only happens on the VDI images not the actual master machine

Copy the files machine.config.default and machine.config from master machine to affected machine and give full access to the user.

Once it is done, reboot the VDI image.

Let us know if the issue persists.

Our vdis are non-persistent images that are deleted on log off.

Only thing i thought of was disabling the SMS service on the master but when i re snap it the service runs on the vdi.
