SOLVED SCEP scans at business hours

Hi Prajwal,

Thank you for the wonderful post of SCCM 2012.

We have set up of SCEP in my company and scan settings are below,

Full scan every sunday 3 am and daily quick scan around 2 am but scep starts scanning at business hours and that is affecting work as well. I have checked configuration of Endpoint Protection and seems fine. Please let me know if you need more information on this.

@Krishna - I have seen this issue reported by many users in technet forums as well. You could try this step - In the Endpoint Protection Policy settings within SCCM, under the Scheduled Scans subheading, you'll find a setting titled "Force a scan of the selected scan type if client computer is offline during two or more scheduled scans". Disable this setting and let me know if the randon scans are still occurring.

Thank you for the reply.

I am handling specific location and CAS is in New jersey, users from other location do not have such issue, its only we who are facing the issue so we did not disable "Force a scan of the selected scan type if client computer is offline during two or more scheduled scans".
