NEW SCEP Definition Updates Clarification

I am trying to push out new definitions in my SCCM environment but they are not deploying unless I check the WSUS.

I need some clarification then what does the source "Updates distributed from Configuration Manager" mean and how the heck do I set that up? It is checked, but nothing is happening and the definitions are on all of my Distribution points.
