We have old updates in the console from 2011-2014. They are still green and downloaded. They are not required for any of our hardware. If we remove the updates what is the risk? I would expect if they are needed in the future they would be included in a rollup or be posted as a required update at a later date. Is this correct? These updates may have been from WSUS before SCCM integration at this company. I am new here and there is anomalies like this in the configuration.

They are unlikely to be added to a roll up BUT if they are need they can be download again.

If the updates are not for any of your hardware then you can remove them.
