SCCM Upgrade stuck at "Installing" for past 5 days

Whilst upgrading SCCM version from 2409 to 2503, the status has been stuck at Installing for past 5 days. Digging deeper I can see:

[In progress]:Validating redistributable files. Check cmupdate.log for details.

So I checked cmupdate.log and come across the following error:

- Manifest version 202503 does not match 202509
- Failed to verify redist file for update D:\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\CMUStaging\AA928926-5C76-4DE0-B51F-0FE4D365DFE2\redist\ConfigMgr.Manifest.cab

Really have no idea where to go from here. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I had this exact thing. I created a share on the MECM server for EasySetupPayload and set the user permissions to Everyone.

I had this exact thing. I created a share on the MECM server for EasySetupPayload and set the user permissions to Everyone.

After setting up EasySetupPayload use the tools to remove the download files and redownload and install.
