PENDING SCCM Upgrade from 1906 to 2010

Hi Team,
we want to upgrade our env from 1906 to 2010...as the hotfix is available for 2010 version and 2010 update is downloaded automatically in the console before released the hotfix. What we want is that can we delete the downloaded update and download again. After downloaded will the hotfix also included in that update or else should we need to run hotfix as usual...?
we want to reduce our downtime.
can anyone kindly let us know.

You can't delete that download from the console. I think you can upgrade 1906 to 2010 first and then install the version 2010 hotfix. Any new hotfixes released for SCCM 2010 will show up after you install 2010 update. You may skip installing 1906 hotfixes as those fixes will be already included with 2010 update.
