Afternoon..

i am new in SCCM,I have set up SCCM 2012 in one of my customers, it is failing to install updates on the clients, the compliance for each update group is just stack on 2-5 percent, when i deploy updates through software center updates are published to the targeted clients but they display failed to install, which log can i monitor to see what could be the problem?

Regards

Did you schedule a deadline for the installing updates ?. check the UpdateDeployment.log file on one of the client computers and see if there are any errors.

Sorry for laite reply i have this log please help from the client under CCM logs

This is the error i am getting on one of the clients that is part of the collection i have deployed the updates to under CCM logs, the log file name is DataTransferService, please assist

I have an update on this issue, i am an unable to access the DP using it's url "http://SCCM.NDB.BW: but when i use IP address for this site server on internet explorer, i do get the attached iis home, now clients a looking for this server using this url which is not accessible now i believe this an issue with the local DNS server because it can not resolve this url to it's server hosting the DP, is there a way in which client can look for this DP using it's IP address?

Regards
