PENDING SCCM Site server OS upgrade 2012 r2 to 2022

Does anyone know if the upgrade path of Windows server 2012 r2 to 2022 works ok? as all the articles talk about 2012 r2 to 2019 and other articles talking about 2019 to 2022 but none straight from 2012 r2 to 2022 even though the OS upgrade path is a valid one.

Has anyone done this upgrade and it went ok?

Can i just follow the upgrade as if i was doing it to 2019?

i have done a 2012R2 to 2019 and everything is working fine. the only issue was the WMI where the ROOY\SMS node was not there after upgrade. i had to use a WMI editor (WMI Explorer) to add it back. so i advice taking a screenshot of the wmi before the upgrade so you can add whats missing after the upgrade.
