SOLVED SCCM PXE imaging spotty

Hi,

We're having a weird issue. When PXE imaging computers of the same model type, one PC will image properly, another wont. The next may, the next wont. No consistency. Any ideas.

When you say the PC won't image, what error do you see when you PXE boot the client or in the smspxe.log.

Hi, thanks for your reply. I'm unable to find 'smspxe.log' file. Our logs are stored in 'F:\Program Files\SMS_CCM\Logs' but the only sms logs I see are "smscliui" and "smsts".

Single site, or do you have mulitple DPs?
Logs on Site server should be located default on (Drive letter)\Program Files\Microsoft Configuration Manager\Logs\SMSPXE.log.

Could also be because you have set a DP up with PXE and that is where you find the smspxe.log

Are you installing with unknown Computer support on DP or is it imported?

We have multiple DPs. I'll grab those logs and let you know what I find. Additionally, I have a meeting w. our MSP today for help w. this. I'll report back on that as well
