PENDING SCCM OSD TFTP timed out

Hi Prajwal,

I followed you blog as to how to deploy windows 7 using SCCM 2102.

But have an issue when I try to boot the machine from network.It says TFTP timed out.

Checked with the network team and they added my server as the IP helper for all my client machines.
Still no luck

Hello Prajwal, in my case the DHCP scope options are configured properly, I'm not facing problems to deploy the image on my lab laptop but when i try to deploy it on a desktop i'm facing TFTP timed out message. The desktop and the laptop are inside the same collection.. What should i do to solve it?

In that case you need to check the boundary and boundary group. Are the desktop and laptops in different IP ranges?. Can you tell me what is the IP address ranges for desktop and client machines ?. screenshots would really help

The laptop and the desktop are in different subnets but they are inside the same IP range i have configured in boundary group.
Note: They are in different subnets but both are at the same VLAN where i did the configuration of 66 and 67 scope option.

My range is from 172.16.192.1 to 172.16.220.254 those are configured in the boundary group.
I have one Vlan where there is a range of IPs from 172.16.196.x to 172.16.199.x. The laptop is on 172.16.196.x and i can reach the SCCM server and everything works fine, the desktop is on 172.16.197.x and i can reach the server but it is facing TFTP timed out issue.

Okay, just for testing purpose can you allot a desktop an IP address in 172.16.196.xx range and check if the TFTP timeout error comes up ?. With this test we can get some clarity..
