SOLVED SCCM OSD Task Sequence stuck at installing until it times out

SCCM OSD Task Sequence stuck at installing until it times out.

Task Sequence is for Windows 10 in-place upgrade.

No smsts.log made or found.

Status after successful download shows 'installing' until task sequence timer expires.

I don't know where to look for an error. SCCM shows status as 'In Progress' 'Program Started'

I've remade the task sequence a number of times already.

SCCM version 1706

Any pointers would be appreciated, I'm out of ideas.

It looks like Install Update Package Configuration Manager 1706 Hotfix Rollup (KB4042949) is stuck on "In progress". Has been for 10 days. Not sure what to do to get it unstuck.

I got it updated. Looks like the issue with the stuck update was a bad maintenance window.

Still can't OSD via task sequence. Please help!
