In sccm CB 2103 env , from the cas server , I ran the ConfigmgrSetup wizard to use the new feature to remove CAS site in order to symplify sccm infrastructure with a single primary standalone.
(from setup wizard>perform site maintenance>delete Central Administration Site) gave infos for SCP and SUP.)
After setup completed (with one warning on unpublished cas object from AD -> whereas the CAS site is published in AD (so warning probably because my admin account don't have permission on AD systemManagement container)

I connected the sccm console to my primary standalone. monitor Site hierachy >Seems OK from there >no more CAS hierarchy. only my primary standalone is displayed.

But what seems strange is that I still can also connect the console to my CAS site and monitoring site hierarchy shows a breaked linked between CAS an primary.

From sccm /site config I can still see the CAS site

Checked ConfigMgrSetup.log file Only Indicated one WARNING: Failed to remove cn=SMS-Site-CASSITE from Active Directory, this will need to be removed manually.
Does anyone face this behaviour when using this remove CAS recent feature?
To note my admin account doesn't have permission on AD SystemManagement container .Sccm site servers have full permission on AD SystemManagement container .
=>does the remove CAS feature uses my admin accounts to remove CAS info from AD SystemManagement container ? as this is not indicated in Microsoft prerequisite part of doc https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/me...oy/install/remove-central-administration-site

Could that cause the CAS site to not been completely cleaned from sccm ? Have any one faced the same behaviour ?

What do you suggest to completely cleanup CAS infos , if add my account permission on AD system config container then should I rerun the configmgr setup wizard from CAS server
Which option to choose? :
-select perfom site maintenance.. then select again "delete Central Administration Site" in order to retry the cas removal feature (but what is consequence on the extisting new standalone site)
Or should I select "Uninstall this Configuration manager site" on the CAS

Thanks for your help
