Im trying to get System center endpoint protection client upgraded to Windows Defender with ATP onboarding (Only for 2012R2 , 2016 servers).

The installation and onboarding works but i struggling with the SCCM client health check that fails after the upgrade, and guess it check the uninstallled service and fails

Error in SCCM Console for the client

What I have done
1) Uninstall System center endpoint protection client
2) Install "Microsoft Defender for Endpoint" client
3) Run ATP Onboarding script

Is there any way to disable or fix this check in SCCM?

From where did you run this script - Run ATP Onboarding script
From a local elevated command shell, used the script onboarding version. I also testet the SCCM ws2012-16 onboaring file but that didn't work at all (Works fine on server 2019+)

Looks like the error is not related to onboarding, but more likely the uninstalled system center enpoint client and SCCM still checking for it.

Using SCCM version 2111
