Once removed the DP role should the packages be removed automaticcally from the disk on the server? In the case I need to do it manually what is the process?
The server should be removed also from the Boundary Group?
Thanks

Yes the packages will be removed when you uninstall the DP role from the server. If you want to delete them manually, you must wait until the role removal is complete. Then go the content drive and manually delete the folders.

As the server has been removed the DP rule it is not present anymore in DP group so I can't see it there to go to property and then to content to remove the packets. What shoud i do?

You have only removed the DP role from the server. You can log in to the DP server (physical/virtual) and review the content to be deleted.

do you mean remove manually the content inside SMSPKGD$ folder ?
Why it was not deleted automaticcaly?

It usually takes time for those folders to be deleted and in rare cases, one has to remove the content manually which I myself did many times.

No, I didn't delete from the content the packages before I have removed the DP role.....it was my mistake ( I thought it was done autamatically).
So I have to delete all the files only in that folder SMSPKGD$?

If you have uninstalled the DP role from the server, you can manually remove all those folders from the drive. Next time when you setup DP, all those folders will be back.

I have uninstalled the DP role from the SCCM console. How can do it by the sever?
Just double check with you I have to delete all the files only in that folder SMSPKGD$

After I have removed the DP role

I expected the content packages (below) to be automatically deleted, but after 48 hours it din't happen.

Questions:
--I did somenting wrong?
--What I should do now? Should I delete manually the folders inside SMSPKGD$?
Thanks

Did you remove the content first BEFORE removing the DP? if NOT you will need to manually delete it.

Thank you Garth.
I didn't remove it before because I thought later the system was going to do it automatically .

I am going to do manually.

Just to be sure where to check in. Is the folders SMSPKGD$, where I have to look at ?

Just delete the whole folder and share.
