Hello experts,

Application deployment stuck on downloading on remote clients. same application works when connected to our corporate network but not when working from home. what settings we need to do to work with those clients. is it something we have to change on network side?

Any suggestions?

regards

Hi,

If you want manage the client on the Internet, you have 3 solutions:
  • Internet-based Management Client.
  • Co-management with SCCM CB.
  • Cloud Management Gateway (CMG).
But if your remote clients are able to connect with the VPN and establish connection with their MP/DP/SUP, It corresponds to your need.

yes remote clients are connecting through vpn, what should I do on primary server or DP or MP to allow the clients to download

When the clients connect to VPN, they get an IP address configured by network admin. Note down that IP address, create a boundary group and associate a DP. The clients need to first connect to a DP and only then they can download the content.
